Dichondra (Dichondra repens) – moist, fertile, well-drained clay-loam to loamy soils. Blend Garden Compost + Loam (50/50) with a touch of fine Sand.

Zoysia (Zoysia tenuifolia) – adaptable to a range of soil types but performs best in free-draining sandy loam soils. Blend Sandy Loam + coarse Sand (70/30). Avoid heavy, poorly drained soils.

Creeping Thyme (Thymus praecox) – very well-drained, light soils with low to moderate fertility. Blend Garden Loam + coarse Sand + fine Limestone chips (50/40/10).

Native Violets (Viola hederacea) – moist, humus-rich, well-drained soils with good organic matter. Blend Garden Compost + Loam + fine Sand (50/30/20). Performs best with consistent moisture and is suited to shaded, filtered light, or morning sun positions.

Silver Falls (Dichondra argentea) – light, free-draining sandy-loam soils. Blend Sandy Loam + River Sand (70/30). Avoid heavy soils and excessive moisture.

Pratia (Pratia pedunculata) – moist, fertile, well-drained loam soils with good moisture retention. Blend Garden Compost + Loam (50/50). Best suited to cooler areas, filtered light, or morning sun, but can tolerate more sun when moisture is maintained.
